Here are a few updates concerning events with JLC and FBLA:

- The next Raider Meet will be held at Grace Snell Middle School on October 18, 2025. Permission slips will be distributed one week before the event.

- The next FBLA General Meeting is on October 23, 2025.

- The final Raider Meet will be held at Summerour Middle School on November 1, 2025.

- All Cadets and FBLA students are invited to attend our Service Learning Project at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse Veterans Museum with Sergeant Diaz on November 8, 2025 (Saturday, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM)

- Cadets and FBLA will host a Veterans Day Ceremony for Military Veterans at our school on November 11, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Teacher Relaxation Station (TRS Room) . All Military Veterans are invited to attend.

- The following students are selected to attend the FBLA Fall Leadership Conference on November 20, 2025, at the Athens Classic Center. The cost is $70 to attend; however, we will pay half of the registration fee. Students will have to pay $35 to attend. Sergeant Diaz must receive payment by October 15, 2025. Sergeant Diaz and his spouse will chaperone the event. There are no other chaperones needed.

FBLA Fall Motivational Rally complete! Next up, Fall Leadership Conference!

Students attending Six Flags tomorrow, here are a few last minute reminders:

- Arrive in the bus lane no later than 6:45 AM
- If you are bringing a bag, please make sure it is a small one
- You are allowed to bring a refillable water bottle, but it needs to be empty going into the park
- Be prepared to take the skilled test, that means to study tonight
- Please bring your phone so you can contact your parents on the way home
- Six flags is “Cashless” that means if you plan on getting something there you need a card. There is also an ATM machine that will take cash and give you a card that can be used only at six flags
- We plan to leave six flags at 5:00 PM and return to the school around 6:30 PM

Fall Motivational Rally (Six Flags) is right around the corner (Monday September 29). Here is some information that will help everyone with planning and organizing for the event:

- The uniform for the event is Jeans and Black LMS FBLA T-shirt.
- You can bring a small carry bag (but it may have to stay on the bus)
- You can bring some cash if you would like to make other purchases (not necessary)
- Students will need to arrive at school no later than 6:45 AM (Please don't be late)
- The bus will parked in the Bus Lane
- The bus will depart for Six Flags at 7:00 AM
- Students will be feed a Buffet Lunch at Six Flags
- The bus will depart Six Flags at around 5:00 PM
- We are expected to return between 6:30 - 7:00 PM
