LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM ADVISORY STILL IN EFFECT!!
We will know the status of the Low Pressure System Advisory by noon tomorrow and we will provide an update.

Update! Water is estimated to be restored in the next few hours!

*Public Notice*- Low System Pressure Advisory! We have had major water main break that has caused low pressure and outages in Town. Our crew is working as quickly as possible to make these repairs and restore water pressure as soon as possible.

The water consumers of Town of Lillington, in Harnett County are experiencing periods of low pressure and outages in the distribution system due to a water main break. Periods of low or no pressure in the distribution system increases the potential for back siphonage and introduction of bacteria into the water system.

Therefore, when water service is restored, consumers are advised to boil all water used for human consumption (including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation) or use bottled water.

Vigorous boiling for one (1) minute should kill any disease-causing organisms that may be present in the water. Water customers are strongly urged to conserve water whenever possible. This advisory will remain in effect until further written notification is issued.
