Today we received a new cold water rescue suit. This suit was purchased with a generous donation from the Limestone Chamber of Commerce/Limestone Development Foundation. This suit will replace and old suit that has exceeded its life expectancy. Providing us with a new suit should we encounter a cold water rescue.

Tonight we pump tested all three of our class a apparatus. Each pumper underwent a full pump test, pumping each truck at 100% capacity at 150 psi 70% capacity at 200 psi and 50% capacity at 250 psi. During each test the truck is pumped for a set period of time. During each pump cycle the vital signs of the truck are documented. The pump primer and pressure relief systems are also tested at this time. All emergency lighting is operated during the test to ensure the electrical system can support the load. Each truck performed flawlessly and ensures they are capable of pumping at peak for long durations. During tonight's test each truck move approximately 40000 gallons of water each.

Tonight the Selectboard approved the purchase of a new fire truck.
This new pumper will built by Metalfab on an International chassis. Truck will carry 1200 gallons of water, 20 gallons of foam, 1250 gpm pump, plenty of storage with roll up doors, plenty of LED scene lights, speedlay crosslays, trashline, and many other great features!
This will be our first new pumper in over 30 years!

We have some large diameter hose to dispose of. Hose is from 1995 and is 31 years old and has been retired. No longer go...

We have some large diameter hose to dispose of. Hose is from 1995 and is 31 years old and has been retired. No longer good for fire service use! Would make a great dock bumper, large door seal, antique apparatus, or anything else you can dream up. Make a donation to the fire department and it's yours. There is 500 feet total. (4) 100 and (2) that make up 100.
