CONSERVATION!!
Help us conserve water. The water treatment plant had some maintenance completed and was not running for a half a day earlier this week. Water to the town came from the reserve water tanks, which are now at about 50% of capacity and we like to keep them full.
Full water tanks not only help us in case of an emergency, but also when full provide us all with better water pressure. Please help us conserve water over the next couple of weeks, so we can replenish our supply.
The town has shut off or substantially reduced watering to our properties to help with this. Thank you!

Heritage Day on Saturday. Many activities finished off with a Drone Show celebrating 150 and 250 years!!

The Heritage Museum will also be paying for free swimming at the Limon Swimming Pool from 1-3!!

Come enjoy a day full of activities!

On June 22nd the Town of Limon will be removing any plastic flowers and other decorations from the cemetery that were put out for Memorial Day. Please pickup what you are hoping to save by June 22nd. Thank you!

SWIMMING POOL CLOSED
The swimming pool is not opening this afternoon. Currently there is lightning within 10 miles, and this weather is supposed to set in for the rest of the afternoon. Sorry for the inconvenience. We plan to be opened on Thursday.

Just Open Swim - Mon - Saturday 1pm - 6 pm
- Sundays 2pm - 6pm

Starting June 1st we will add
M-W-F Aerobics - 6am
Laps - 7 - 8:30am

Tues & Thurs Morning Family swim
(Adult must be present)
10 am - noon

TREE PILE
With the moisture last week we were able to take care of the tree pile. It has been opened back up for Limon residents to take branches, grass clippings, and other vegetation from your properties.
REMINDER that this is not a dumping place for lumber or other building material. Please use the Lincoln County Landfill for your trash.

On Saturday, May 9th, the Lincoln County Landfill will have free dump day. Anyone that lives in Lincoln County can take trash to the landfill that day for free. (Please visit Lincoln County Landfill to find out what is allowed to be dumped)
The Downtown Limon organization will have Scrub a Hub and will be picking trash throughout the town of Limon. Please look for flyers if you would like to take part in this activity.
The Town of Limon will have two rolloff dumpsters set at C Ave by the Skate Park and a third rolloff set by the horseshoe pits by the Railroad Park.

Because of weather earlier this week the Town of Limon did not celebrate Arbor Day with the 4th grade classes on April 30th and has rescheduled this for Wednesday, May 6th.
