Lincoln County: We’re Coming Your Way!

Join us for this Community Workshop designed especially for older adults, disabled community members, and caregivers.
This free, interactive session will help you strengthen both personal and community resilience, and build emergency strategies that support independence and interdependence.

Every participant will receive an emergency backpack and hands‑on guidance from facilitators on how to use and personalize the items inside.

The Nature Conservancy, along with the Oregon Department of Forestry, will be doing a controlled burn at Cascade Head from March 30th-31st. Small areas will be burned to manage open grassland habitat to enhance biodiversity. The Cascade Head trail will be closed during this time. Smoke may be visible from Lincoln City, please do not report.

The NWS has issued a HIGH WIND WARNING in effect until Wednesday December 17 at 6AM. Southwest winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph are expected. Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Tavel will be difficult for high profile vehicles.
