This is an administrative position that manages over a major division of Aging Partners: Community Activities & Services. Responsibilities include planning, directing, coordinating programs that provide services to seniors through the following channels: Senior Centers, Kitchen, Fitness Programs, Health Clinics/Wellness Programs, Transportation and other direct services. Creativity and innovation on how to adapt programs to future “senior” generations important. Experience in program growth, budget management, program development and managing to state regulations important. This position will also seek and manage external partnerships that enhance our services to seniors. Member of Aging Partners Leadership Team.
Supervision is received from an administrative superior with work being reviewed in the form of reports, conferences and effectiveness of programs supervised. Supervision is exercised over professional, para-professional and/or clerical employees.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in public administration, marketing, human or behavioral sciences or related field plus considerable experience in an administrative or managerial capacity including supervisory experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills. Specialized training and/or certification by appropriate agency in the specific area assigned may be substituted for a portion of the education requirements.
