Yesterday, Theresa Moore, our Logan County Clerk, attended the Illinois Association of County Officials (IACO) Spring Conference. Our clerk gathered with other county officials to receive legislative updates. Additional briefings were given on legislation concerning county clerks and recorders. County clerks and recorders had the opportunity to round table discuss current and upcoming topics.

Clerk Moore was delighted to see Logan County Circuit Clerk, Kelly Elias at the conference, along with Logan County Treasurer, Penny Thomas (not pictured). State Senator Sally Turner was on a panel of legislators issuing updates and speaking with county officials. Our Logan County elected officials were delighted to be able to visit and speak with Senator Turner. It was an added pleasure to see other county clerks and recorders. Clerk Moore visited with Tazewell County Clerk & Recorder of Deeds, John Ackerman and Macon County Recorder of Deeds, Mary Eaton, together with other clerks and recorders.
