To everyone who showed up for Lighthouse during Give to Lincoln…thank you. ❤️

Because of your generosity, youth in our community will continue to have a safe place to belong, meals to eat, support in school, caring adults to lean on, and opportunities to grow into who they are meant to be.

Every donation, every share, every encouraging word reminded us that Lincoln believes in its youth. Your kindness and compassion will have an impact far beyond these past few weeks.

We are also deeply grateful to the Lincoln Community Foundation for creating Give to Lincoln and for providing nonprofits across our community the opportunity to come together, be supported, and continue making a difference in the lives of others.

A snack might seem small.
But to a young person walking through our doors after a hard day at school, it can mean comfort, consistency, and care.

Every meal served at Lighthouse is paired with encouragement, belonging, and adults who genuinely care.

Some of the best conversations happen standing by the water with a fishing pole in hand. 🎣

Last week, Lighthouse youth and Lancaster County Sheriff deputies spent time fishing together, building connections that go far beyond the lake. These twice-monthly gatherings give youth the opportunity to see officers in a different light, while officers get to know the incredible young people of Lincoln for who they truly are.

Moments like these build trust, understanding, respect, and belonging, one conversation at a time. 💙
