The concert band had a wonderful time performing in O’Neill yesterday. A highlight was having some local students and the O’Neill band director join us for the “Chimes of Liberty March.”
The Music Performance Teams will be in Atkinson tomorrow and the concert band will wrap up our tour in Seward on Friday. 🇺🇸 🎶 🎤

Our Music Performance Teams have enjoyed performing in Valentine and Burwell the last few days. Our concert band heads to O’Neill this evening! 7:00 at Ford Park

As the 43rd Army Band begins its 2026 Annual Training, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the community partners who have supported our performances.

In Ainsworth, Erin Rathe, the band director at Ainsworth Community Schools provided rehearsal space and assisted with concert promotion, while Lisa Schroedl, City Administrator, arranged the use of the city park and provided chairs for the event.

At Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park, Michaela Clemens helped organize and promote our performance, and Rachelle Stolzer of the Burwell Chamber of Commerce helped spread the word throughout the community.

We are grateful for their support, which helps us share our music and connect with the communities we serve.

Paul Kenney, an LPS graduate and band director, uses his journey through struggle, military service, and education to inspire students. Through music, he builds community, confidence, and purpose, helping students grow both personally and academically.

The 43rd has had several promotions the last few months. Congratulations to SGT Josie Anderson, SSG Mark Freeouf, SSG Jacob Welling, SFC Mary Beave, and SGT Daniel Shipley. The band is in great hands with your continued leadership. NCOs lead the way!
