Help Omaha Welcome Home Cpl Daegan W. Page.

Friday, September 10, 1:30pm.

The route has been determined and will depart Eppley Airfield in Omaha via Locust Street and Abbott Drive.

We suggest showing your support at any of the following:
1) Abbott Drive south of Locust Street to the CHI Convention Center on 10th street in downtown Omaha
2) Near St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 13271 Millard Ave., Omaha
3) Near Braman Funeral Home, 6505 S 144 St., Omaha

Please note that if you want to be downtown, MECA has offered free parking in the CHI Convention Center lots.

You are welcome to bring a flag and a lawn chair, but please stand and salute when our Fallen Hero passes by.

We wanted to let everyone know that the flight bringing Daegan home is expected to land around 1:30 pm on Friday, September 10 at Eppley Airfield in Omaha.

For those who are planning to come out and line the streets to welcome him home, thank you! Please know we are working with the Omaha Police Department to coordinate the route from Eppley to the Braman Mortuary at 6505 South 144th St. Stay tuned to the Cpl. Daegan Page – Never Forgotten page for more details. We hope to be able to post a map of the route soon.

We know many people would like the opportunity to come pay their respects to Daegan. We are working on coordinating a public visitation before the funeral on Friday, Sept. 17. We will announce the time/date/location as soon as we have that arranged.

Homecoming: ~1:30 pm, Friday, Sept. 10 at Eppley Airfield

Funeral: 10 am, Friday, Sept. 17, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 13271 Millard Ave., Omaha

Burial: Following the funeral, Friday, Sept. 17, Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Rd., Omaha

Also, we wanted to release another photo of Daegan. This photo was taken in Afghanistan by one of his close friends, Gabe Magnison, a Marine also with the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment.
