The Nebraska Democratic Party Black Caucus is proud to endorse Denise Powell for Congress in Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District.

Denise Powell is running a campaign rooted in putting working families first, fighting for accessible healthcare, strengthening public education, and ensuring Nebraska remains a place where families can thrive, not just get by.

As a small business owner, mother, and public school advocate, Denise brings real-world experience and a deep understanding of the challenges facing everyday Nebraskans. She has made it clear that Nebraskans is ready for leadership that moves beyond politics as usual and instead delivers real results for communities that have too often been overlooked.

Her campaign is about restoring trust in government, increasing transparency, and ensuring that our voices, especially those from historically underserved communities—are not just heard, but prioritized.

At a time when the “Good Life” is becoming harder to reach for too many families, Denise Powell is stepping up to fight for economic opportunity, fairness, and a future where everyone has a chance to succeed.

The NDP Black Caucus is committed to building Black political power, increasing voter engagement, and supporting leaders who are aligned with our values. Denise Powell’s vision, leadership, and commitment to community make her the right choice for Congress.

We are proud to endorse Denise Powell and look forward to mobilizing voters across CD2 to ensure victory in this critical race.

The Nebraska Democratic Party Black Caucus is proud to endorse Eric Moyer for Congress in Nebraska’s 1st Congressional District.

Eric Moyer is running a campaign focused on building an economy that works for all Nebraskans, not just the wealthy or well-connected. His commitment to raising wages, addressing the cost-of-living crisis, and protecting Social Security reflects a clear understanding of what working families across our communities are facing every day.

He has also been a strong advocate for healthcare as a human right, supporting policies like Medicare for All to ensure that no Nebraskan has to choose between getting care and paying their bills.

Eric’s campaign prioritizes fully funding public education, supporting educators, and rejecting efforts to divert public dollars away from public schools investments that are critical to the future of our communities.

In addition, his background in renewable energy and his focus on expanding domestic energy production highlight a forward-looking vision that creates jobs while positioning Nebraska as a leader in the energy economy of the future.

Eric Moyer is running because he believes Nebraskans deserve better representation leadership that listens, delivers, and puts people over politics.

The NDP Black Caucus is committed to building political power, increasing voter engagement, and supporting candidates who are aligned with the needs of working families and historically underserved communities. Eric Moyer’s vision, values, and commitment to fairness make him the right choice for Congress in CD1.

We are proud to endorse Eric Moyer and look forward to mobilizing voters across the district to build a stronger, more equitable Nebraska.

Friends —

I want to tell you something I don't always get the chance to say on the campaign trail.

I'm an attorney, former Nebraska State Senator, Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, coach, husband, and father of two. Everything I've done has been in service of one belief: government should work for everyone — not just the few.

In the Legislature, I led the most comprehensive criminal justice reform in Nebraska history, helped protect Omaha's Blue Dot, expanded health care access, and fought for affordable housing — because justice and economic security are inseparable.

I didn't just observe Nebraska's courts and justice systems. I helped shape them.

That's exactly why I'm running for Douglas County Clerk of the District Court.

The Clerk's office is the front door of justice. Every major legal moment in a Douglas County resident's life passes through it — divorce, protection orders, child custody, felony cases, civil disputes. When it works well, families move through with clarity and confidence. When it doesn't, the harm falls hardest on those who can least afford it.

As your Clerk, I will:
✅ Modernize operations to reduce backlogs
✅ Reduce delays so families aren't waiting months
✅ Support the dedicated courthouse staff
✅ Lead with transparency and accountability

I know the law. I know public service. And I know Douglas County.
