Serve as the link between sportsmen and the Nebraska Legislative Sportsmen’s Forum (NLSF) by providing advice and guidance to the NLSF on issues affecting fishing, trapping, hunting and shooting sports. Educate, communicate and inform sportsmen about issues that affect fishing, trapping, hunting and shooting sports, and the means by which they can play a role in resolving these issues on both the

state and federal levels. Serve as a conduit for conservation organizations, sportsmen’s groups, state legislators and state conservation agencies to the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation in Washington DC.

URGENT: Is Your Hunting Tradition Next?

We typically focus on local issues, but a new amendment to the Federal Farm Bill has reached a tipping point. As written, this amendment threatens to make hunting with sight hounds illegal.

While this specifically targets sight hounds now, we have to ask: where does it stop? If one traditional hunting method is banned today, which one is "unintended" for tomorrow?
