What a day! Together, we raised over $13,000 for land conservation in Nebraska during Give to Lincoln Day 2026! We are truly grateful to every single donor who gave a gift — big or small — to help conserve Nebraska's land for the next generation and beyond. 💚🌿

🌾 Give to Lincoln Day is THIS THURSDAY, May 28th — and Nebraska Land Trust is participating!

This is one of our favorite days of the year, because it means YOU can make an even bigger difference for Nebraska's land, water, and agricultural heritage. Every donation is stretched further thanks to a share of a $650,000 matching fund.

No matter the size of your gift, your support helps us protect the prairies, rivers, and working lands that make Nebraska home.

Today we honor and remember the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we hold dear. Thank you to those who served, and to the families who carry their memory.

🌎 Happy Earth Day from Nebraska Land Trust! 🌿

We are proud to work alongside landowners, donors, and partners to conserve the lands we all love. Together, we are protecting open spaces, wildlife habitat, and clean and abundant water.

This Earth Day, we encourage you to take a moment to appreciate Nebraska’s natural beauty 💚

We’re lucky to have some incredible talent on our team📸

Harleigh studied photography as part of her degree, and her talent shines through in so many ways at Nebraska Land Trust. She captures the quiet beauty and character of Nebraska’s landscapes, and her photos help tell the story of the land we work to protect.

If you’ve ever paused on a beautiful image in our newsletter, website, or emails, chances are you were admiring Harleigh’s work. We’re grateful to have her eye for detail and passion for conservation behind the lens.

As she begins a new annual monitoring season, we can't wait to see what she captures next! Thanks to our friend Gary Barrineau for documenting Harleigh in action.

Our hearts and prayers are with every landowner, producer, and family impacted by the Nebraska wildfires, including several of our own easement landowners and board members. We are grateful for the firefighters, emergency responders, and volunteers who have worked tirelessly through these devastating conditions. The Nebraska Cattlemen have put together resources for those in need of hay, supplies, and recovery support. No membership is required.

As many producers are in search of hay and supplies, we have put together a wildfire resource webpage www.nebraskacattlemen.org/wildfire-resources.

Please email [email protected] with any information or questions.

Columbia shoppers really showed up for land conservation! Thank you to Land Trust Alliance, Columbia Sportswear and all the customers that donated to support land trusts!

Y'all really are some Tough Mother Funders! 🤩🤩🤩

We are completely blown away be the success of the Columbia Sportswear Retail Store Grant program. From Oct. 2025-Jan. 2026, shoppers made donations at the register, totaling a mind-blowing $358,600! These funds will be divided between 30 land trusts, who will receive small grants in the amount of $12,365.

Every land trust is as unique as the communities it serves. Congratulations to the following land trusts who worked hard to promote this pilot program and are making positive impacts on land, water, wildlife and their communities every day:
