UPDATE: The Grid Advisory has been updated. Please see our most recent post for the latest information.
SPP is extending the Conservative Operations Advisory for the West Balancing Authority Area (BAA) through an anticipated end time of Saturday, July 25, at 12 a.m. CT. Conservative Operations Advisories are considered stable operating conditions and do not require the public to conserve energy or take any action, but are issued to raise awareness of potential threats to reliability among entities responsible for operating transmission and generation facilities.
This Conservative Operations Advisory for SPP’s West BAA went into effect Monday, July 20, at 11 a.m. CT.
SPP’s East BAA area is currently under baseline normal operating conditions. Click here for more information: https://spp.org/markets-operations/current-grid-conditions/
