We had a Czech Day Celebration at our Club de Oro and everyone had a Barrell of Fun! We were lucky to have Sue Placek and JoAnne Hawley with Sue's Music . They brought an authentic bagpipe called a Chodish pukl which Jo has named "Billy" as it was made from the pelt of a white goat. They sang and played their accordians and showed other musical instruments. The music was wonderful and everyone clapped along to the beat. A Czech meal of pork, sourkraut, dumplings, fruit, and kolaches was served!
