Our training room was all set up and ready this morning to welcome 7 incredible new faces to our team!
We are so thrilled to add 5 Family Support Workers, an IFP Therapist, and a new DST Specialist to our Jenda family❤️

It’s time for our monthly Employee Spotlight🌟
This month, we are incredibly proud to highlight Alyssia, one of our dedicated IFP Skillbuilders! Alyssia joined the Jenda team in May 2023 as a Family Support Worker and has since transitioned into her current role. Alyssia consistently shows up for families navigating unknown and traumatic systems, helping them find resources, advocate for themselves, and achieve lasting change in just weeks. Working in social services takes a special kind of heart and we have found that in Alyssia.
We so grateful for all the meaningful work she does! Thank you, Alyssia❤️

At Jenda, we know that providing family support and mental health services isn’t just about the work in the room—it’s about the policies, education, and advocacy that built the foundation. While incomplete, this list of trailblazing Black social workers and psychologists paved the way, and redefined what care looks like. Black history lives in every family and client we support. It is a legacy we carry forward every day of the year❤️
