🌱 We're Growing: Adult Daily Living Support Is Now Open in Lincoln

MC Community Services has launched a new Section 17 Daily Living Support (DLS) program, and we're now accepting referrals!

DLS is one-on-one support for adults working to build and strengthen the skills of everyday independent living. We meet people where they are, working alongside them in their own home and community on the things that make day-to-day life steadier, like keeping up a household, staying on top of appointments, managing a budget, and connecting to community resources and transportation.

Who it's for: DLS is for adults (18+) with MaineCare living with serious and persistent mental illness. This program is built for people whose mental health condition affects their ability to live independently, often adults who have experienced things like psychiatric hospitalization, time in residential treatment, housing instability, or repeated mental health crises. If that describes you or someone you're supporting, reach out, and we'll help figure out whether Section 17 is the right fit.

🌞 Halfway through 2026, and our BHP bonus program is still going strong.

June was one of our best months yet. Here's what that looked like at MC Community Services:

→ Nearly 9 in 10 of our BHPs earned a bonus this month.
→ More hours of care reached kiddos and families than in any month this year.
→ Every earned bonus, fully funded and paid, just like every month before it.

Here's why that matters even more in June. When school lets out, a lot of kiddos lose the structure and routine that holds their week together. A Behavioral Health Professional who keeps showing up (through the summer, through schedule changes, through all of it) is exactly what keeps a hard stretch full of transitions steady for a child and their family.

A strong month for our BHPs is a steady summer for the kiddos and families who count on them. That's the work, and that's why we celebrate it.

🟢 Hiring in Lincoln: Community Services Program Coordinator | $23 to $28/hr, full-time

We're looking for an organized, natural communicator to lead a team of direct service providers. You'll hold regular one-on-one supervision with your staff, create real working relationships with the parents and guardians who are part of every client's team, and keep steady contact with the children and adults we serve, some of whom communicate in their own ways and on their own timelines. You'll onboard and support staff, build predictable schedules, and shape how we help the people in our community who need it most.

What you need:
- A bachelor's in human services or a related field
- 2 years of experience
- A reliable vehicle

🌟 Celebrating Our Team 🌟

Behind every good month at MC Community Services is a group of people who show up.

Over the past month, our Behavioral Health Professionals did what they do best: they showed up for the children and families who count on them. Week after week, in homes and communities across our area, they were the steady, familiar presence that makes this work matter.

They sat with the hard moments and helped turn them into better ones. They were the face at the door on a Tuesday afternoon that a kiddo and a family knew they could count on.

That steadiness is the whole job, and our team brought a lot of it.

After thirteen years, we're saying a bittersweet goodbye to one of our own.

Tracy Fleming joined MC Community Services in 2013, and on July 17th, she begins a new chapter, embracing whatever comes next. We couldn't be happier for her, even as we're going to deeply miss having her here.

As a BHP Supervisor, Tracy spent more than a decade helping families and Behavioral Health Professionals find success. She knew our services inside and out, and just as importantly, she knew what else was out there. When a family needed something we couldn't provide ourselves, Tracy was the person who knew exactly where to point them. That kind of knowledge, paired with how genuinely she cared, made a difference in more lives than we could count.

The connections she built across our communities, with families, with our team, and with so many people throughout the Lincoln area, are part of what makes MC what it is today. Thirteen years doesn't just make someone a valued employee. It makes them family, and Tracy will always be part of the MC Community Services family.

Tracy, thank you for thirteen years. The good you did here stays with us. We wish you nothing but wonderful days ahead. 💚

🌱 Spring at MC Community Services — Building Real Momentum

April was a special month at MC Community Services. Our team of Behavioral Health Professionals delivered more in-home and community-based sessions to children and families than any month since we launched our BHP bonus program last fall.

When the program first rolled out, the idea was simple: recognize and reward the people doing the hard, meaningful work of showing up consistently for kiddos and families who count on them. Several months in, it's doing exactly what we hoped, and our team keeps building on it.

Earlier this spring, we expanded the program even further to carry that momentum into the warmer months. April was the first real look at what that could do, and our team delivered.

The hard work our BHPs put in every day isn't just showing up in their paychecks. It's strengthening the foundation of our agency and opening doors to grow into new service lines that serve even more people across our community. One of those doors is already opening: we're expanding our outpatient therapy program this summer and accepting referrals now for clients of all ages, in person or via telehealth. 🌟 We're Growing — More Outpatient Therapy Coming to Lincoln

MC Community Services is expanding our Section 65 outpatient therapy program, and we'll be welcoming a second clinician to our team this summer!

We're accepting referrals now, with new client sessions starting late June / early July. Outpatient therapy is available for clients of all ages, in person at our Lincoln office or via telehealth — whichever works best for you and your family.

Please note: We currently accept MaineCare for outpatient therapy services. We are not accepting private pay or commercial insurance at this time.

If you or someone you know has been waiting for outpatient therapy, now is a great time to get on our list so we can be ready to schedule as soon as sessions begin.

🎉 March Bonus Results Are In! 🎉

Six straight months of our BHP bonus program at MC Community Services, and our team keeps showing up for the kiddos and families we serve:

→ ~80% of our BHPs qualified for a monthly bonus in March
→ 12 BHPs earned $100 or more in bonus pay
→ Six straight months of every earned bonus is fully funded and paid.

Behind those numbers are clients who got consistent, reliable care from the same trusted faces, week after week. That consistency is what builds trust with a child and their support system. It's what helps families see real progress. It's what great care looks like.
