For six years, Jo has been an incredible advocate for children, families, and her BraveBe team.
As a Bilingual Forensic Interviewer, Jo has a remarkable ability to create a space where children feel safe, respected, and heard. She approaches every interview thoughtfully, adapting to the individual needs of each child and always bringing the focus back to one question: What is best for this child?
Jo's bilingual skills have also made an incredible difference for Spanish-speaking children and families. Whether she is conducting an interview in Spanish, providing interpretation, helping a caregiver understand what to expect, or assisting our MDT partners, Jo goes above and beyond to make sure families feel informed, supported, and cared for.
Her impact reaches far beyond the interview room. Jo is a trusted resource for her coworkers and MDT partners, a thoughtful problem solver, and a quiet leader who approaches even the most challenging situations with integrity and grace. No matter how busy her day may be, she is still one of the first people to offer help, check on a teammate, or step in wherever she is needed.
