Stop by beginning at 4:00pm to learn more about BraveBe Child Advocacy Center, enjoy two brand new beer releases, grab dinner from The Corndog Company, and connect with fellow community members who care about making a difference for local children.

We'd love the opportunity to share more about our mission and how community support helps create safety, healing, and hope for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

💛 Happy 1 Year Anniversary, Rachel! 💛

In just one year, Rachel has made an incredible impact on BraveBe. As our Special Events & Volunteer Coordinator, she has taken on every challenge with professionalism, organization, and grace. From coordinating events and growing our volunteer program to leading a hugely successful Holiday Gift Giving season, Rachel has consistently exceeded expectations.

What makes Rachel so special is her quiet determination. She approaches every project with kindness, thoughtfulness, and a deep passion for the children and families we serve. Behind the scenes, she works hard to ensure every detail is in place, every volunteer feels valued, and every event reflects the mission we care so deeply about.

Rachel is a joy to work alongside and a trusted teammate who brings positivity, compassion, and excellence to everything she does. We are so grateful for all she has accomplished in her first year and excited to see all that is still to come.

🏅 Acts of Bravery Award | Nicole Gothier 🏅

This week, the BraveBe staff is proud to recognize Nicole Gothier with Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services as our Acts of Bravery Award recipient.

Nicole recently went above and beyond to ensure a child received the care, support, and services they needed during a particularly complex situation. Nicole approached the case with urgency, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to the child's well-being.

When concerns came to light, Nicole acted quickly to ensure the appropriate agencies had the information they needed and worked diligently with caregivers and partners to prioritize the child's safety and needs. Her proactive communication, attention to detail, and dedication helped ensure that no concern went unaddressed.

What stands out most about Nicole is her commitment to putting children first. Regardless of circumstances or additional challenges, she approaches her work with professionalism, care, and a determination to do what is best for the children and families she serves.

Congratulations, Nicole, and thank you for your dedication to protecting children and supporting families. 💛

💛 Happy 6 Year Anniversary, Paige! 💛

Six years ago, Paige joined BraveBe as Executive Director, and our organization has never been the same.

Paige is the kind of leader who dreams big, tackles hard challenges head-on, and never loses sight of why we do this work: the children and families we serve. She leads with vision, integrity, courage, and compassion, guiding BraveBe through growth, innovation, and change while always keeping kids at the center of every decision.

What makes Paige truly special is that she doesn't just lead from the front, she walks alongside her team. Whether she's meeting with community partners, securing resources for families, supporting staff through difficult moments, or stepping in wherever help is needed, Paige is always willing to roll up her sleeves and do the work. She makes time for people, even when her schedule says she shouldn't have any left to give.

Her passion for this mission is evident in everything she does. The impact of her leadership can be seen not only in BraveBe and Brave Faces Lincoln's growth and success, but in the countless children, families, staff members, and community partners whose lives have been touched by her dedication.
