This November, Lincoln voters will decide on Measure F, a local revenue proposal intended to help address the city's public safety needs.
Measure F provides 3 main things:
- 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 $𝟔 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞: Measure F is projected to generate about $6 million per year in locally controlled general revenue. That funding would remain in Lincoln and could support essential city services, including police and fire protection.
- 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Lincoln Fire engines do not currently carry paramedics. Measure F is intended to help bring trained paramedics and advanced emergency medical equipment to those engines, expanding the department's ability to provide emergency medical care.
- 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: The proposal includes annual audits, a Citizen Oversight Committee, and public spending reports posted online.
Lincoln Fire Fighters endorse Measure F for its potential to help prevent public safety cuts and expand emergency medical services.
Election Day is November 3, 2026. Take time to understand what Measure F proposes, review the details, and make an informed decision.
