Developmentally appropriate instructional materials, and our three-tiered enrichment model, provide unique learning experiences for all students and flexible opportunities to meet the academic needs of our high-ability students. Through our 1:1 Teaching & Learning Initiative, technology integration provides an engaging environment - personalizing each student’s learning while empowering students with responsible digital citizenship. World Language is also part of our core curriculum with components of instruction in Spanish language and culture integrated throughout the day. Opening the emotional mind for rich learning experiences, Half Day School provides an explicit curriculum for targeting social emotional learning objectives. 🏆 The Dawn Anderson Volunteer Angel Award is the PTO's highest accolade, given to a parent or guardian whose youngest student is graduating from District 103. Unlike the Volunteer of the Year Award, which factors in recent contributions, this award takes into consideration a nominee's entire tenure at D103.

This version of the PTO's "Lifetime Achievement Award" was named to honor the legacy of Dawn Anderson, a district parent who tirelessly devoted her time to D103 across many different roles. She set the bar for what volunteerism looks like in our community, and that is still the standard our nominees for this award are held to.

Please join us in honoring this year's four recipients of the Dawn Anderson Volunteer Angel Award:

💫 Kari Davenport
💫 Marissa Grossenbach
💫 Maria Peterson
💫 Kathy Reibel

These women are past room parents, school board members, PTO presidents, Teacher Appreciation Week leads, Explore the Arts leads, Half Day Fun Fair coordinators, and grant review committee members — among other things. The list of activities that these women led seems limitless. It was never about where their own kids went to school. It was always about this community as a whole. They showed up, stood out and left a lasting mark.

We are so very grateful to each of these women for their contributions to Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103 which simply cannot be measured. ❤️

For 37 years, Camp MacLean has been a fourth-grade tradition. Last week, our students added their own chapter to the story in Burlington, Wisc., filled with muddy shoes, shared laughs, and moments of courage as seen in these photos.

At Camp MacLean, learning looked different from a normal school day. Students worked together to solve challenges, explored the outdoors with curiosity, and discovered that confidence can grow just as quickly as teamwork. Whether hiking trails, tackling group activities, or stepping outside their comfort zones, students learned that some of the best lessons happen far beyond classroom walls.

Each year, the District 103 PTO proudly presents the Volunteer of the Year Award to an individual who tirelessly dedicated their time and talents to our schools throughout the academic year. 🏆

We had a record number of nominations this year, making our decision incredibly tough. So tough, in fact, that we were stuck. We simply couldn't choose one, so we didn't...

This year, we are proud to present the Volunteer of the Year Award to TWO remarkable women: ⭐️ Gayle Rizzuto and Marybeth Lockwood. ⭐️

Gayle and Marybeth bring infectious enthusiasm to everything they touch. They bring new ideas to life, put in the time and rally the community around them. They are a steady and reliable presence we’ve come to simply count on. We are so grateful to have them in our corner here in District 103.

Please join us in congratulating Gayle Chez Rizzuto and Marybeth Lockwood! ❤️
