✨Please join us in congratulating Adam Patton as Lincoln County Veteran Services Director.

Lincoln County Manager Davin W. Madden announced today that Adam Patton has been named as the Veteran Services Director for Lincoln County effective June 30, 2026. Patton has been serving the community since January of 2024 when he was hired as the Veteran Services Officer for Lincoln County. His career in the armed forces began when he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps shortly after graduating from West Lincoln High School in June of 2007. During his military service, Patton was selected for prestigious security assignments at Marine Barracks Washington, 8th & I, where he served from April 2008 to August 2009 providing security at Marine Corps Headquarters. He was then assigned to Presidential Security at Camp David from August 2009 through September 2010, helping safeguard one of the nation's most secure presidential retreat locations. Following that assignment, Patton joined 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and completed a combat deployment to Marjah, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
After completing his military service, Patton attended NASCAR Technical Institute, graduating with honors. He spent more than a decade working in the manufacturing industry. Patton has a strong dedication to assisting veterans and their families.
“Lincoln County has always supported our veterans and the service they provided for their country. And Adam has provided that same service to his country and I am confident he will continue the legacy of service to the veterans of Lincoln County. Our mission is the same, to connect essential resources and benefit knowledge to all of those who served in a professional and committed manner.",” said County Manager Davin Madden.
"I am committed to ensuring veterans receive the benefits, resources, and support they have earned through their service to this nation, I have enjoyed my time as Veteran Services Officer and look forward to continuing to serve my community in this new role,” said Adam Patton.
Adam and his wife Melissa have been married since 2015 and are enjoying raising their spunky five-year-old daughter Emily.
