The public hours are as follows:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 10 am - 5 pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 11 am - 7 pm
Saturday: 12 pm - 5 pm

We also facilitate adoptions at Petsmart Lincolnton in partnership with Helping Animals to Survive every Saturday from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm

🐾 Adoption fee is $40. Dogs have received their basic vaccinations, been spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

🐾 If you already have dogs, please bring them so we can ensure all family members approve.

🌟𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒎𝒃𝒍𝒆!🪡
Thimble is a sweet, soft spoken cat who only recently learned how wonderful it is to be pet by a human! 🥰Previously an outdoor cat with very little socialization, Thimble has really come out of her shell, and we are so proud of her! She will happily approach for some gentle petting and love. While Thimble has decided that being pet is the best thing ever, she is still picky, and does not tolerate being picked up, so she may do better in a home without small children.

Thimble is a one year old spayed female who has been at the shelter for 𝟑 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬. Due to living outside, her white ears had some sun damage, so they were trimmed short to prevent skin cancer later in life. Luckily, this new look only makes her cuter! What a beautiful calico~😻

🐕🚹Tank (A025723, male) was found at Vale Hardware on North NC 18 Highway, Lawndale. He was brought to the shelter on 8/10/26.

🐕🚹Pumbaa (A025728, male) was found on North Generals Boulevard, Lincolnton, near the closed Homsteads Grill and Taphouse. He was brought to the shelter on 8/10/26.

🐈‍⬛🚹Kovu (A025733, male) was found at Walmart on NC 73 Highway, Denver. He was brought to the shelter on 8/11/26.

🐕🚺Lady (A025734, female) was found on Rugged Ridge Trail, Iron Station. She was brought to the shelter on 8/11/26 and is receiving medical treatment from our veterinary team.

This handsome 1-year-old Lab mix weighs 46 pounds and has plenty of puppy energy to share. Haden is 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲 AND 𝐃𝐨𝐠 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲, and his favorite things include running, playing, and having a good time! 🐕💨🎾

He’s at that perfect age where he’s ready to learn, explore, and become your very best friend. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a romp in the yard, or simply hanging out with his favorite people, Haden is ready for whatever fun comes next! ❤️
