Early and Effective CPR and defibrillation are crucial for saving lives.

**Always call 911 immediately at the sign of any medical emergency**

**If there is breathing (agnonal respirations, irregular breathing) with no pulse begin CPR**

**If an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is available, please utilize it and adhere to the prompts.**

**If the patient is wet dry them off first before applying the AED**

**If the patient is in water remove them from the water before beging resuscitation.**

Everything is very dry, so if you're planning to have fireworks, please enjoy them responsibly—away from anything that could catch fire, and make sure you have a water source nearby. 🚨🚨🚧🚧🚨🚨

**UPDATE** DOT placed barricades and the road remains closed. Duke is assembling a crew to fix the issues. Still no time frame.

Highway 182 between Westover Drive and Gainesville Church Road is currently closed.

HCFD and LCSO are on the scene of a power pole that has broken off causing some low hanging lines and power outages in the area.

Duke power has been made aware and there is no estimated time of repair. NC DOT has been requested to bring barricades to block the road until repairs can be made.

Please avoid the area if at all possible.
