Some of the roads are starting to clear up however there are still some areas that we recommend you use caution in

The main area as of right now is Metasville Rd from Charles Ward Elam to Rowland York this area is is still completely frozen Rowland York near Elberton Highway is also still frozen

We would like to also ask everyone to use caution tonight and tomorrow morning any areas that had snow or ice melt today that hasn't completely dried will freeze again throughout the night

All of the roads in town are completely iced over this morning please avoid traveling unless it's an EMERGENCY Law Enforcement will be patrolling throughout the day and we will provide updates on the road conditions when possible

All the roads in town are covered with snow and are freezing over we are asking everyone to avoid traveling unless it is an EMERGENCY and is absolutely necessary

Update

With the temperature continuing to drop we have some spots on the road way that are starting to develop ice patches and we expect this to get worse as the temperature drops throughout the night we are continuing to encourage people to stay off the roads unless it's an EMERGENCY

Some of the areas we have found ice patches starting to develop include

N Peachtree St @ Pitts Ln
All of Pitts Ln going from N Washington St to N Peachtree St
Rowland York Dr near Elberton Highway
Elberton Highway near Firetower Rd

We will continue to provide updates when possible

As of now the roads are still drivable however we still ask everyone to avoid traveling unless it is absolutely necessary we will continue to try to keep everyone updated on the road conditions throughout the day
