Ready to add a little ¡español! to your school year? The Lillie Russell Memorial Library is excited to offer High School Spanish for Homeschoolers. Classes will be held on Fridays, beginning September 4!

🗓️ Fridays | 3–4 PM
📚 45-minute classes
💵 $30 per class, per student
🍂 12 classes in the Fall + 12 classes in the Spring

Whether your student is just getting started or looking to build their Spanish skills, this is a fun opportunity to learn, practice, and ¡hablar español! 🗣️💬

Introducing the Lillie Russell Memorial Library Puzzle Exchange Trading Post! 🧩✨
Have a puzzle you’ve finished and ready to pass along? Bring it in and take one home! It’s as simple as BRING ONE, TAKE ONE, REPEAT! 🔄

📚 No library card needed (unless the puzzle has a Lillie Russell Library barcode).

We welcome puzzles of all sizes—from children’s 50-piece puzzles to those 2,000+ piece challenges for serious puzzlers! Just make sure your puzzles are complete, gently used, and in good condition.

So, if you’ve got a puzzle collecting dust on your shelf, bring it to the library and trade it for your next favorite challenge! 🧩💙

Teen Advisory Board members will help:

🤝 Support library outreach
📚 Assist with collection development
⭐ Earn service hours for honors societies, church, and other organizations!

We had the BEST time celebrating summer with our amazing library community! From smiles and laughter to bubbles, sweet treats, games, and plenty of fun, our Summer Bash was one to remember! 🫧🍋🍧📚

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and helped make the day so special. Thank you to the Lindale Fire Department, Credit Union of Texas, Best Day Bubbles, Kona Ice of Tyler, Scooter's Coffee, and so many more who showed up for our community! We are so grateful for the wonderful people who continue to support the Lillie Russell Memorial Library and make our community such a fun place to be! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to two incredible members of our library team! 💙📚

As summer comes to a close, we'd like to recognize our college intern, Josiah, and our Work Ready employee, Jimmy, for the time, hard work, and positive attitudes they've brought to the Lillie Russell Memorial Library. We are so grateful for their dedication, willingness to help wherever needed, and the kindness they showed our community every day.

Thank you, Josiah and Jimmy, for all you've done this summer. We appreciate you both and wish you the very best in all that's ahead! ❤️
