Even though abortion is illegal in Texas, the abortion pill remains very active and accessible.

Recently, one young woman reached out after taking the first pill and experiencing immediate regret. Because support was available, she was connected with care, hope, and resources in time. Today, she’s grateful she had the chance to change her mind and carry her baby to full term.

Stories like hers remind us why this ministry matters.

Because of faithful supporters, women facing some of their hardest moments can find compassionate care, real answers, and people ready to walk beside them without judgment.

She was pregnant when she also lost her job! 🥹

What followed was fear, uncertainty, medical complications, and moments where she wondered how she would make it through.

Here’s where the story takes turn. When she joined our Building Blocks mentorship program, she found something unexpected:

- People who stayed beside her.
- People who prayed with her.
- People who encouraged her.
- People who helped fill every gap when she thought she would go without.

“There should have been gaps,” she said, “but they were always filled.”

Today, her story looks very different — marked by healing, restored faith, and hope for the future.

Today is Mother’s Day, and we’re reminded that motherhood is often built through countless quiet acts of love. 💐

To the mothers who nurture, sacrifice, encourage, pray, support, and care for others day after day… thank you. Your love and strength make a lasting difference.

And to every person who comes alongside vulnerable women and families through volunteering, prayer, generosity, and support…thank you for helping create a place of hope, stability, and care when they are needed most.
