Some behind the scenes things and trucks. The first three pictures are of our Kildare Station with Brush 91 Stationed there. Our game plan is to have the second bay added in and for Tanker 90 and Engine 90, which are both both currently at our Center Hill station, placed in Kildare Station hopefully by Spring of 2027. We are trying to get everything done and moved by Winter time frame but it depends on how everything goes. We have also added some pictures of the remodel progress of Center Hill station and our trucks that are stationed there as well. 90% or better of all of our remodeling is being done by our Fire Department members when the aren't working and are able to. This helps to decrease the cost to our taxpayers.

Five East Texas first responders received the "Cass County Lifesaving Commendation." It was for rescuing a driver whose vehicle was swept off Highway 248 during severe flooding on June 23. The honored individuals include Cass County Sheriff's Deputy Marty Lawrence, Texas DPS Trooper Colten Johnson, Linden Police Sgt. Matthew Graham, and Emergency Services District responders James Burbridge and Brandon Miller. Working as a team, they located the driver lodged in a tree near a culvert and used a rope and life jacket to pull him to safety. The driver was treated and released from a local hospital.
