LK is excited to welcome Mrs. Lesa Hill as our new Kindergarten Teacher!

Mrs. Hill has 22 years of experience in education, she has served as a Teacher Assistant, Early Childhood Librarian, Music Teacher, and Pre-K Teacher. She is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom. An award-winning educator, Mrs. Hill was honored in 2023 with the Susan Hartman Early Childhood Education Excellence Award and Teacher of the Year recognition.

Mrs. Hill shared, “Together — We Can… We Shall… We Will… ensure all students succeed!”

LK is proud to announce our new Kindergarten Teacher: Angel Shaw!

Ms. Shaw shared, “My two boys, Rylan and Tristan, are my absolute world. Being a boy mom is always super fun and keeps me on my toes. Teaching has always been a passion of mine. When they asked what I wanted to be in school, I would always say a teacher. Now I get to live out my passion, and I am so excited to do so!”

LK is proud to announce our new 5th Grade Science/Social Studies Teacher: Franchesca Horvath!

Mrs. Horvath is excited to join Linden Elementary for the upcoming school year. After living in the DFW area, she is looking forward to moving back closer to home with her husband, two children, and their dogs. She cannot wait to meet everyone and begin an amazing school year in August!

LK is proud to announce our new Pre-K 3 Teacher: Kennedy Stone

She graduated from Northwestern State University of Louisiana (NSULA) with a degree focused on psychology and social work before beginning her journey in education. she has a passion for helping children learn, grow, and feel supported in the classroom. Outside of teaching, she grew up swimming competitively, which later turned into coaching swimmers of all ages. She is excited to create a fun, safe, and nurturing classroom where every child feels loved and confident to learn. Welcome, Kennedy Stone!
