Today 4 members went to the Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department Fireman’s Parade. Brush 2 was awarded the Best Appearing and Equipped Brush Truck. This truck was built by our members to serve our area in the most efficient way possible. We have completed the trifecta of Lycoming County Parade awards, and for that we are very appreciative for the amount of compliments we have received from members and spectators.

Tonight at our monthly meeting, FF/EMT Ashlyn Robinson was upgraded from Jr. Member to an Active member. Ashlyn came and joined Station 2 at 14 years old and completed 4 years of Jr membership, the whole way accomplishing all of her mod classes, EMT, and soon to do Firefighter 1 testing. We want to thank Ashlyn for her commitment to our community and our station, we are lucky to have her! She has been waiting for this day for a while so, let’s get to work!

Tonight Station 2 attended the Avis Fire Company’s parade. 6 members went between Tanker 2 and Brush 2. The trucks were shined up and Tanker 2 won best appearing Tanker, and the Brush brought home the Judges Award best in class. As always we appreciate the invite and look forward to next year! We would also like to thank our volunteers who come down and dedicate their free time to make sure the trucks look beautiful!

This weekend we pause and take time to remember all of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to keep us free. We thank all members of the military for their service and dedication.

Today 3 members of Station 2 attended a parade for Montgomery Volunteer Fire Company. Brush 2 was cleaned to showroom quality, and received The Best Brush Truck Award.

Last night at 6:25pm Station 2 was dispatched to assist Jersey Shore EMS with a four wheeler accident in Woodward Township. Rescue, UTV, and Brush 2 all responded and arrived on scene to help move the patient from the accident scene, to the ambulance. A total of 10 members responded.

On Friday night 6 members of Station 2 attending a live fire training at the Williamsport Regional Airport. Members trained on fuel, engine, landing gear, and cabin/cockpit fires. Squad and Tanker 2 were both used in the scenarios.
