What an incredible year it has been. We wrapped up our elementary journey in the best way possible with a fun class picnic, our annual awards ceremony, and a celebratory parade! 🏆🎈

To our amazing Hooper Heroes: we are so incredibly proud of the leaders, thinkers, and friends you have become. As you officially move on to 6th grade at Palombi School, always remember to carry your Hooper pride with you. You are going to do amazing things! 💙🏫

The 3rd-grade picnic was a huge success! ☀️🍉 It was a beautiful afternoon of fun, laughter, and celebrating an amazing year together.

Our 3rd graders were spoiled with awesome swag bags loaded with bubbles, balls, autograph hats, notebooks, pens, sidewalk chalk, and sunglasses! After a delicious picnic lunch, everyone cooled down with some popsicles. 🍧🕶️

Such a perfect way to wrap up our year.

Field Day 2026 is officially in the books! ☀️🏃‍♂️🏅

Wow, what an incredible day! We couldn't have asked for better weather, and our Hooper Heroes brought 100% of the energy. From the relay races to the laughs, today was all about fun, teamwork, and making memories.

A massive THANK YOU to all of our incredible parent volunteers and staff who worked behind the scenes to make today run smoothly. We truly couldn't do it without our amazing Hooper community! 💙🐾

🌟 Career Day Was a Massive Success! 🌟
A huge THANK YOU to all of our incredible presenters who made Career Day at Hooper Elementary School an unforgettable experience! Our students had an amazing time exploring different paths, asking brilliant questions, and getting a glimpse into their futures.

From saving lives to designing technology, creating art, and keeping our communities safe, we are so grateful to the professionals who invested their time in our students.

3... 2... 1... BLAST OFF! 🚀✨

Hooper’s 5th Grade Science Night was an out-of-this-world success! Our student engineers showed off their custom-built rockets, experimented with balloon rockets, and mastered the physics of paper airplane flight. 🎈✈️

It was a night full of "Aha!" moments and high-flying fun. We are so proud of our young scientists for their hard work and curiosity!

Our 2nd graders are officially "booked" for the week! 📚✨

Hooper Elementary had a fantastic field trip to the Lake Villa District Library. Our students got an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at how our neighborhood library works—from how books are sorted to where the magic happens behind the front desk.

We are so lucky to have such an amazing resource right in our backyard! A big thank you to the librarians for hosting our curious explorers.

Our Hooper Elementary students had an incredible visit from Animal Quest today. From scaly reptiles to furry friends, our 3rd graders got an up-close look at some amazing creatures and learned all about their habitats and unique traits.

🌟 A Night of Spark & Shape! 🌟
Tonight was truly electric at Hooper Elementary! Our amazing 3rd and 4th graders opened their classroom doors to show off a year's worth of hard work, curiosity, and incredible growth.

Here’s a look at what our young scholars shared:

The Power of Science: ⚡ Students demonstrated their mastery of electricity, using positive and negative charges to light up bulbs and show us exactly how energy flows!

Geometry in Action: 📐 From polygons to symmetry, our students got creative with shapes, proving that math is beautiful and everywhere around us.

Academic Growth: 📈 More than just projects, tonight was about celebrating how far every student has come since the first day of school.

We are so proud of our Hooper Heroes! A huge thank you to the families and teachers who make this growth possible every single day.
