Last night The Bay Rats along with West Babylon Volunteer Fire Department East Islip FD and Bay Shore Fire Department conducted a mass casualty rescue drill with Fire Island Ferries, Inc. Members worked closely with neighboring departments during hands-on water operations and casualty evacuation training, helping ensure we’re prepared to respond to any event.

Over the weekend the BayRats had the pleasure of welcoming our newest engine to the fleet with a ceremonial wet down. The 2025 Pierce is now the 6th engine to be used by the BayRats in our 100 years of service. We would like to thank every company and departments who attended the ceremony.
