The District was formed in March, 1988, making us one of the youngest Park District in this area. However, it's one of the fastest growing Park Districts with a variety of recreational programs and parks to offer. We currently have 19 names park sites which includes 2 beaches (25 parcels of open space total), that offer some of the newest active features around, combined with designated passive/na

tural areas. We also have a Community Center with a full size gymnasium, 3 lane suspended walking/jogging track, dance studio, senior/adult room, preschool and multi-purpose rooms, conference room, and they are all ADA accessible.

🎶🎸🍺WHAT A WAY TO END THE SUMMER!

The Blooze Brothers brought an incredible night of live music, high-energy entertainment, and plenty of dancing to our final rescheduled LMP, and can we talk about their entrance!!

And the fun didn't stop with the music! Our Classic Car Show featured an impressive lineup of cars that had everyone stopping to look, admire, and take a few pictures.📸🚗

The crowd enjoyed classic hits, great cars, amazing vocals, dancing, delicious food, cold drinks, and plenty of community fun!

Thank you to all who came out and helped us celebrate our final show: our sponsors, food vendors, beer vendor, car show participants, and everyone who helped make the evening possible.

A HUGE thank you to our Lindenhurst Lake Villa Community Partners and our Title Sponsor, Raymond Chevrolet Kia, for supporting us all summer long. Looking for a fun way for your homeschooled kids to get moving, make friends, and have a blast? Our popular Homeschool PE Class is the place to be!

Kids ages 7-10 and 10-15 will join other homeschooled students at the LPD Gym for a weekly dose of movement, games, and FUN! Each week brings something new as our instructor uses imaginative games, creative activities, and age-appropriate challenges to keep kids active and engaged!
