When you see lights and hear sirens, safely move to the right and stop when possible.

✅ Wait until the vehicle has passed.

❌ Don’t slam on your brakes.
❌ Don’t block intersections.
❌ Don’t follow emergency vehicles.

Every second matters. Help emergency responders get where they’re needed safely.

Thursday afternoon the Lindenwold Fire Department and Fire Prevention Bureau along with the Lindenwold Police Department, delivered a safety presentation to residents of the Harvest House Apartments.

We conducted a fire drill and afterwards provided information on emergency evacuation procedures as well as various fire safety tips.

Tonight the Lindenwold Fire Department was training on drafting operations at Lake Worth Park. We routinely train on using different water sources in the event we need to get more water for different fires. Also, our Engine is on the county's Large Diameter Hose task force wich deploys for larger fires thruouth the region. We run a fire police traffic unit as well wich handles traffic coordination at large scale incidents and MVAs. The fire department is always looking for new members if you are interested. This morning the Lindenwold Fire Department responded to Forrest Ave in Clementon for a house fire. First arriving crews found a fire in the kitchen area and were able to contain it quickly. There were no injuries and we were able to remove safely dogs and cats.

As part of Autism Awareness Month in April, the Lindenwold Fire Department is offering stickers designed for autistic residents. Comparable to Tot Finder stickers, these can be applied to windows, doors, or vehicles, serving as a visual indicator that a person with autism is present, which can be crucial information for emergency responders. If you would like one, they are free to Residents of Lindenwold while supplies last. You can stop by the station on Scott Ave on any tuesday night or contact the Fire Marshals office at 856-346-0935
