Help Us Keep Our Shelves Full and Our Neighbors Fed

With SNAP benefits temporarily in question, many local families are facing increased food insecurity. Here at Delta Community Action, we are already seeing more people turning to our food pantry for help, and we want to make sure no one in our community goes hungry.

We need your help now more than ever.

Your food or monetary donations will go directly towards restocking our shelves with essentials like canned goods, pasta, rice, peanut butter, cereal, and other staples. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.

To help, you can drop off any non-perishable food items at our Purcell or Pauls Valley Offices, Monday through Friday.

Together, we can lift up our neighbors and ensure that every family in our community has food on the table.

Delta Head Start has openings for an Early Head Start Teacher and Subsidy Teaching Assistant in Pauls Valley, as well as a Quality Assurance Specialist and 2 Family Advocates that will cover Garvin, McClain, and Stephens Counties. An infant/toddler CDA or a Certificate of Mastery is preferred for the Early Head Start Teacher position, an OKDHS Childcare Center Director Credential for the Quality Assurance Specialist position, and we will provide training for the Subsidy Teaching Assistant and Family Advocate positions if hired. Are you or someone you know uninsured or under-insured and need help with maintenance prescriptions? Delta Community Action Foundation's RX for Oklahoma program may be able to assist. If you live in McClain or Garvin counties we will assist you with obtaining free or low cost prescription drugs. This program helps customers fill out the required applications from participating pharmaceutical companies patient assistance programs.
The RX for Oklahoma program is for maintenance drugs, not short-term or emergency drugs. We do not dispense drugs or pay for prescriptions. We cannot guarantee the approval for any program, as each decision is made by the pharmaceutical company.
