NEW: Senators Jack Reed, Lisa Murkowski, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Susan Collins sent a letter to the interim director of IMLS affirming the agency's statutory functions, including library funding. IMLS *must* fulfill their core mission; these programs and funds are NOT optional.

Actual bids came in higher than estimated, so the Lindsborg Community Library 's heritage room remodel is now pending another $50,000 raised. Let's help make it possible to have this included in the current construction work phase!

Thanks to all the friends who came to the annual meeting last night. Such a great turn-out! The list of friends in this library community can’t be beat!

Continue educating our community about the importance of the library—especially those in leadership.

Friends, postcards have been sent announcing our Annual Meeting for January 13. A social time begins at 5:30pm with the business meeting beginning at 6:00pm. Please gather at the library to hear exciting updates and election of board officers (sometimes referred to as directors).

Also consider being a board officer. Friends of Lindsborg Library is a necessary entity as we are the 501c3 organization the Lindsborg Community Library needs. The time and energy required to be an officer is minimal. But filling these positions is crucial for the library.
