We hope you have been enjoying the sunshine we've been given in the past few days. On behalf of the CASH Department of Music, we would like to cordially invite you to the high school's Spring Concert on Monday, May 18th at 7 PM. This concert will feature talent from our 9/10 and 11/12 bands, Concert Choir, Chorale, and Silver Linings Women's Ensemble.

Please note the date change from our original concert postings. We had to resolve a conflict so that all of our ensemble members were able to attend. We hope to see you there as we conclude our concert season!

This past weekend, three incredible musicians represented CASH at the PMEA All-State Festival and Conference at the Kalahari resort in the Pocono Mountains. Each student earned their spot in their respective ensemble through rigorous auditions of varying levels of challenging music.

Junior Katarina Cameron was a member of the Contemporary A Ca****la ensemble, a group which has only existed for three years. Junior Leah Gillette represented our band program in the Concert Band on bari sax. Junior Jacob Hackworth had the opportunity to sing with the Concert Choir. All three also have had the opportunity to audition and advance to the NAfME All-Eastern festival, which will take place next year.

We are so of each of these young musicians’ hard work and dedication to their craft! If you see them, please be sure to congratulate them!

Look at these awesome kids! They really knocked it out of the park at District Chorus!

Massive CONGRATULATIONS go out to our 6 CASH musicians for an incredible District Choir festival. From January 7-9th, Katarina Cameron, Kevin Clark, Leah Gillette, Jacob Hackworth, Jordan Miazga, and Riley Shauberger auditioned and rehearsed a challenging folder of music under the direction of Allegheny College's choral director, Dr. James Niblock. The event culminated with a fantastic concert on Friday, January 9th. All six CASH students did incredibly well in their auditions as well as throughout the entire festival.
Out of those six, Katarina, Leah, Jacob, and Jordan scored high enough in their auditions and were chaired to advance to Region 2 Chorus in February. Katarina and Jacob even took first chair in their respective sections, an honor which exemplified their preparation and dedication to learning their music.
