👏👏Thanks to our community, a piece of Lower Paxton Township history is preserved in the township building for viewing (once restrictions are lifted).
The large, beautiful, Linglestown schoolhouse replica has been moved from our dusty and dank lower garage of the old firehouse and is on now on display in the lobby of the township building.
Thanks to the Carl family for building this craft, custom replica on behalf of Gerry Hartman and the Linglestown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. We appreciate your efforts and are happy we could allow many to see this for years to come!
We had a wonderfully successful event last night with Comedian Earl David Reed! All of this was made possible thanks to those who supported us by attending the show. The experience couldn’t go on without the help of our partners at the Linglestown FHB and Firefighter's Home Association and Linglestown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary! (Several folks not pictured here, including our Fire Police Officers who were helping to direct traffic!)
Now it’s time to start planning for a fourth year in 2021!
Today is totally a perfect soup day! Doors open at 9am. It’s dry and warm inside! Chicken corn, ham and bean, all fresh and kettle made. Warm. Yummy. Get it in your belly!
Also baked goods available by the Linglestown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary!
The Linglestown Area Civic Association invites the community to the Annual Tree Lighting and Caroling on Sunday, December 1, beginning at 6 pm.

Following the tree lighting, enjoy a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the St. Thomas Room of the Linglestown Fire Co, courtesy of the Linglestown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.
The all-volunteer Linglestown Fire Company No. 1 - Station 35 celebrates its 85th year protecting lives and property. We presented a township citation at their banquet last night, where firefighters past and present, fire police, trainees & Linglestown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary were recognized for sacrificing so much for township residents. It was an honor to be there.
Thank you ladies for letting Cassie help. She loved it.
