We are pleased to announce the completion of the inside portion of our Post's recognition of "The Seven" Osage County men who died during the Vietnam War. As seen in previous postings, we have the Flag Memorial on the outside of the building with a flag and plaque for each of The Seven. Yesterday, I delivered the last of the seven "faded" flags (which had flown here for about 18 months) to the next of kin of each of The Seven. The Inside Memorial shown here consists of burial flags in specially built cases as well as individual metal plaques identifying each one. To complete this part of the memorial, a framed picture of a 1975 newspaper article about The Seven appears in the middle. To each of The Seven, we of Post 4756 extend a well-earned "Welcome Home." CLICK EACH PICTURE FOR AN ENLARGEMENT AND COMMENT.
