📬 2026 Personal Property Declarations Update – Linn County

Great news! The Linn County Assessor’s Office has received 70% of personal property declarations for 2026 so far.

Thank you to everyone who has already returned their forms — we appreciate your prompt response!

Our second round of reminder mailings has now been printed and will be going out soon. Because of normal mail timing, some taxpayers who mailed their first declaration back recently may still receive the second notice before their original form reaches our office.

All declarations received as of today (March 6, 2026) have been scanned and processed in our system.
As always, you can call us to verify if we have received yours. (660)895-5387 opt 5 or 6.

Thank you for helping us keep the assessment process running smoothly!

Linn County Assessor’s Office,
Christy Techau-Dover, Assessor
