🦕🦖 Join us as we launch our summer reading program Unearth a Story on Monday, June 29, at 6 p.m. for an evening with Dr. Kenneth Lacovara, founding executive director of the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum 🦖🦕

A Linwood native and Mainland Regional High School alumnus, paleontologist and geologist has unearthed some of the largest dinosaurs ever to walk the earth, including the massive 65-ton Dreadnoughtus. He is the recipient of the Explorers Club Medal, the highest honor in exploration, previously awarded to pioneers such as Sir Edmund Hillary, Jane Goodall, and Neil Armstrong.

Call us at 609-926-7991 ext. 1 to register for this event and be entered into a drawing for a copy of Dr. Lacovara’s book Why Dinosaurs Matter, winner of the Nautilus Book Prize.

Storytime is taking a break in June, but it will resume on July 1 during our Unearth a Story Summer Reading program!

🧸 Would you join us in supporting a great cause begun by a young Linwood Library patron?

Meet Stuffy Strong: a pediatric comfort program created by a local 6-year-old that allows children in the hospital to choose their own stuffed animal from a special “Animal Menu” during difficult moments. Through the Stuffy Strong program, newly donated stuffed animals will be selected by children—or by the parents for their child—and provided to children visiting the Emergency Department.

Scan the QR code to find a wish list of approved stuffed animals at different price points. All items are brand new and shipped directly to the organization. All donations will then be brought to AtlantiCare. Stuffy Strong officially begins during the first week of June.
