Awakening early and using my ever capable Walker, I ventured out to the lounge not to near the pool. A safe distance to enjoy the dragonflies dipping into the pool for a refreshing sip or two! Joining me next were my ever present birds: the kitty bird, the house sparrow ( where’s her apron) and the not so lonely Mourning Dove, with an occasional fly by from the Cardinal Couple and Blue Jay!
Despite my problematic right leg swelling from my recent right hip replacement, I still went out to the garden to put some guiding twine up for my veggies that are making a great effort to use the arched cattle panels.
Some lovely surprises a few cucumbers and still some green beans coming on!
The wind/rain broke my tall hollyhock that was full of seed pods. I’ve cut it and brought it back to the pool house to hopefully dry and maybe bring forth more usable seeds. Do you know if hollyhocks need stratification?
Well, my dear one, another day to conquer our challenges! Good luck and Goddess speed from us at Juniper Rydge!
