The Columbiana County Special Response Team (SRT) will be conducting training in the 200 blk of E. High St. Please do not approach the team while they are training.

SRT members may be using flash bangs, simunition weapons and breaching equipment. There will be no live ammunition used inside the Village.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Police Department and direct them to Lt. Reynolds.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is mourning the loss of Trooper Nicholas P. Cayton, of the Canfield Post, after he died as a result of being hit while in his cruiser by a semi-truck on state Route 11 south of U.S. 224 in Canfield, Ohio. Trooper Cayton was assisting a disabled commercial vehicle at the time of the crash.
“Today, the Patrol lost a member of our family. This is a tragedy for the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Ohio Department of Public Safety”, said Colonel Charles A. Jones, Patrol Superintendent. “Our prayers go out to the Cayton family during this difficult time.”

‼️Attention residents

Please welcome Michal, a foreign exchange student from Slovakia 🇸🇰 (Europe) to Lisbon.

He will be working in the Village of Lisbon (later other towns) around Columbiana County for this summer, selling educational materials (books and apps) under an internship program for Southwestern Advantage. Michal has been in North America 7 times already.👍

Michal speaks English and has obtained a Village solicitation permit for door-to-door sales, so he may be knocking on your door, in the country too.

He drives BLACK HONDA ACCORD (rental car) with Georgia plates 🚗

Michal speaks multiple languages and has accent, please do not be intimidated by that. Let’s welcome our new visitor👍
