Who's ready for a great Dagwood sandwich today?

The Lisbon Landmark Foundation's boxed lunch benefit kicks off at noon at the PL&W train station at 12 noon today.

There are still a few tickets left and are available at the station. $20 apiece.

Lisbon Landmark Board Treasurer Autumn Vitko and Board Member Joe Vitko have just the ticket for you to beat July’s heat: a “Yankee Doodle Boxed Lunch” fundraiser on July 18.

The lunch features a classic Dagwood Sandwich (roast beef, turkey, ham, cheddar and Swiss cheeses and all the fixings on a hearty white bread), as well as premium potato chips, a homemade cherry chocolate chip cookie and lemonade.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased from any Foundation Board Member or at the Source Gallery (40 N. Park Ave., Lisbon).

Lunches can be picked up from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 18th at the historic Lisbon Train Station at 232 S. Market Street, Lisbon.

All proceeds from lunch go to renovating two of the Foundation’s buildings in the downtown.

Many thanks to everyone who came to the Lisbon Landmark Foundation's annual Pancake Breakfast.

As part of the breakfast, McKinley Elementary School students exhibited art immortalizing historic areas in the village with County Commissioners Mike Halleck and Roy Paparodis selecting the winners.

The Lisbon Landmark Foundation's annual pancake breakfast is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. this Saturday, February 21st at the Lisbon Methodist Church.

All proceeds go to restoring old buildings in our village's historic downtown.

A big thank you to our friends at Nourish Coffee + Kitchen (8 S Park Ave, Lisbon; (234) 335-2178.

Nourish is one of the co-sponsors for the Lisbon Landmark Foundation's annual Founders' Day Pancake Breakfast on February 21. Nourish will be supplying the coffee at the event (their coffee is great; I am almost there daily for my decaf latte fix).

This year's Breakfast falls on the 223rd birthday of the founding of Lisbon.

It starts at 8 a.m. and runs through 11 a.m. and is held at the Lisbon Methodist Church at 114 E. Washington St.

Our Columbiana County Commissioners will be on hand as well as judging the artwork submitted by students from McKinley Elementary School.

All proceeds from the breakfast go to restoring buildings in downtown historic Lisbon.
