Rowan Reed, 13, Youngstown, Ohio.

He's been gone since July 11th — and Mahoning County had more missing children last year than any other county in the entire state of Ohio.

Rowan Reed

Male. Curly black hair.

Rowan was last seen on July 11, 2026, in Youngstown, Ohio.

In May 2026, the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force participated in Operation Spring Cleaning, resulting in 11 arrests in the Mahoning Valley — men traveling from Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and North Carolina to target children. Mahoning County logged 775 missing children reports in 2025, the highest of any county in Ohio, and a U.S. Marshal arrested a man in Youngstown on r**e and trafficking charges as recently as April 2026.

The MCA Virtual Search Party™ is already on this — and right now, we need every member of the MCA Search Team moving on Rowan's behalf. If you've seen him or know anything, make the call. Don't wait.

We trust Jesus Christ to bring Rowan home. "And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him." — Luke 15:20

⚠️ The Danger Level Gauge and any regional statistics or data included in this post are not claims about what happened to this child or what is currently happening to this child. Regional information — including trafficking statistics, law enforcement operations, and documented risk factors — reflects publicly available data about the area where this child disappeared. It is not a statement about this specific case. We are not saying this child was trafficked. We are not saying this child was abducted by a stranger. We don't know — and neither does anyone else until law enforcement finds answers. What we know is that the environment around a disappearance matters, and you deserve to see that information. Every case fact comes directly from NCMEC or official law enforcement.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month 💙

Each of these 488 pinwheels represents something powerful — a voice that spoke up, a concern that wasn’t ignored, a child who mattered.

In 2025, Columbiana County Children Services opened and investigated 488 referrals of suspected child abuse or neglect. That’s 488 moments where someone chose to see something and say something.

Prevention starts with awareness, but it depends on action. It takes a community that’s willing to step forward, even when it’s hard.

If you see something, say something. You could change a child’s story.

Since 2020, 45% of the fatalities in Columbiana County investigated by children services were found to be due to unsafe sleep. 3 cases in 2025 and already 2 in 2026.
Each of these fatalities were preventable and as the child protection agency in Columbiana County it is our duty to educate whomever we can. This isn’t just educating mom and dad. It’s about educating grandparents, aunts, uncles, anyone who is a caregiver to the child.
Children Services will be at the Way Station in East Liverpool today from 10:00-2:00 and on April 24 at the Way Station in Columbiana from 10:00-2:00. Please come out and see us to learn more about safe sleep and the programs at the health department where qualified individuals can receive a car seat and/or pack in play
