The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Lisbon will be holding a public session on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 9:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m. at 153 South Main Street, Lisbon for any additions or corrections that may be needed to the Voter Checklist. [RSA 654:27]



The Supervisors of the Checklist will also begin the verification of the checklist process during this session, as required by NH state law. Under RSA 654:38, any person on the checklist who has not voted in the past 5 years must re-register to remain on the checklist, unless they registered to vote after the November 5th, 2024 state general election. The Supervisors will send notice letters to voters pending removal to their mailing address listed on the checklist. The session may continue past 8:30 a.m. to complete this step in the process.



Voters may also register or make any changes with the Town Clerk during business hours. Applicants for new registrations or changes must bring proof of identity, age, citizenship and domicile with them.

All ballot articles, as well as Articles 1 through 10 discussed during the Annual Meeting, were approved. Article 8 was amended and approved for an appropriation of $500.00 instead of the originally requested $1,000.00.

We have been informed of a water main break on Pine Knoll Terrace. The Highway Department is actively working to repair the issue. Please be advised that the water supply from 302 to the intersection of Pine Knoll Terrace and Pearl Lake Road will temporarily be shut off during the repair process. This may impact residents and businesses in the surrounding area.

This year's Town Meeting and elections will be held on Tuesday, March 10th. Poles will be open from Noon to 7:00 PM at Lisbon Regional School. The business meeting will start at 7:00 PM. Copies of the 2025 Town Report can be found at the Town Office, Duez and Bar Harbor Bank. They can also be viewed digitally on the Town website.

No additions or corrections shall be made to the checklist after this session, until election day, except as provided in RSA 654:12. RSA 654:8 ll

NOTICE TO ADDRESS PUBLIC CONCERN
It has come to our attention that reports are circulating regarding multiple individuals visiting various properties. At this time, the Town has no information regarding the identities of these individuals or any connection to authorized projects. Additionally, we have not received any notifications concerning surveying or assessment activities in the area.
If residents observe unfamiliar persons on private property or notice activities that raise concerns, we strongly recommend contacting the Police Department directly to facilitate appropriate investigation. Immediate reporting enables law enforcement to respond effectively and determine whether the activity is authorized.
We value the community’s vigilance and will share any verified information as it becomes available. In the meantime, please report concerns directly to the Police Department rather than relying on unverified information online.

The Lisbon Regional School Board will conduct a public budget hearing on Wednesday, February 11th, at 7:00 PM in the school library. The Board will review the proposed budget and discuss the Warrant Article regarding open enrollment
