Earlier this week, 7th graders Grant and Ryan from St. Joan of Arc got a ride to school they probably won’t forget anytime soon. 🚔

Our dayshift officers came out to make the morning extra special, and Sgt. Dexter, Commander of DuPage Metro SWAT, gave them a hands-on look at some of the incredible SWAT equipment and gear used by the team. Safe to say there were a lot of smiles and great questions all around.

As today marks the last day of school, we want to congratulate Grant, Ryan, and all students, teachers, and staff at all our Lisle schools on a great school year. We hope everyone has a fun, safe, and relaxing summer! ☀️

As we head into Memorial Day Weekend, the Lisle Police Department hopes everyone has a safe, relaxing, and meaningful holiday weekend with family and friends.

We hope to see many of you out enjoying the Lisle French Market on Saturday and lining Main Street for the Lisle Memorial Day Parade on Monday at 10:30 a.m.

Our officers will be out all weekend keeping the community safe, enjoying the great weather, and perfecting their “selfies with the community” skills. 😄

Please celebrate responsibly, drive safely, and take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Have a great, safe, and wonderful Memorial Day Weekend, Lisle! 🇱🇷

We are grateful for our strong partnerships with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office. These collaborations are critical in protecting our communities and holding offenders accountable.

We also want to recognize the outstanding work of our investigators and the investigators from the Illinois Attorney Generals Office, who work tirelessly behind the scenes every day on complex and important cases. Their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to protecting vulnerable victims make a difference in our community each and every day.

Child exploitation is horrific, and is especially reprehensible when the offender is a public servant; this officer has been fired. I am thankful to the Lisle Police Department, the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office and the Lake County Sheriff for their work on this case.

National Police Week 2026 🇺🇸

This week, Sgt. Bill Wise and Officer Allie Cable proudly represented the Lisle Police Department in Washington, D.C. during National Police Week. They attended the Candlelight Vigil and the 45th Annual National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service, honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

These ceremonies are powerful reminders of the courage, sacrifice, and commitment carried by law enforcement officers and their families across our nation. We will never forget those who gave their lives protecting others.

We are incredibly grateful to the Lisle VFW 5696 and Post Commander Don Smith for the generous donation which made this important trip possible for our officers.

Thank you, Sgt. Wise and Officer Cable, for representing Lisle PD with professionalism, honor, and respect during this meaningful week of remembrance.

Last night, the Lisle Police Department proudly participated in the “Battle of the Badges” at Naperville North High School alongside our friends from the Naperville Police Department and Illinois State Police. We’re grateful to Naperville North Boys Volleyball for organizing such a fun event and for bringing law enforcement and the students together for Police Week.

Special thanks to SRO Brian Rolls and Sgt. Dan Taylor for stepping onto the court, and to our cheering squad of Social Worker Janet Jakova, and Deputy Chief Craig Gomorczak and many others for coming out to support the event.

Great night for all involved, and we can't wait to do it again next year!
