Reminder to Lismore residents! This week is Weather Awareness week and today is the Tornado Drill testing. This means you will hopefully hear the sirens go off at 1:45pm and 6:45pm today. This would be a good time to practice what you would do if the sirens really meant that a tornado or even bad weather was hitting Lismore. Especially if you have children who may be home during the summer by themselves. Do they know where to go and what to do? Better to be prepared then not!

City of Lismore has a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Regular cab 6.0 liter pickup for sale with 188,000 miles. The title is a salvaged title. The City is accepting bids until Noon on Monday, April 13th, 2026. Bids can be made by emailing the City Clerk at [email protected], mailing to PO Box 188, Lismore MN 56155 or dropping the bid off (can give to clerk if available or put in drop box). Here is the 2026 Recycle Calendar from Schaap Sanitation - if you are wanting a paper copy please stop in at City Hall to get one.

Garbages will be picked up like normal on Friday December 26th and Friday January 2nd. Thank you!

Mosquito Control of IA does plan to spray hopefully sometime this week - they are waiting on Chemicals and then will have to see what the weather does as they cannot spray if raining or windy. Thanks!
