Learn to play Magic: the Gathering and experience the world of fantasy wizard battles through the world's most popular trading card game!

We'll cover the basics of how to play a game of Magic, then participants will get to pick up a deck and try out a game for themselves. After the event, the deck is yours to keep to start your collection!

Experienced players are welcome, too! Come get to know your local Magic community!

Our Stuffed Animal Sleepover was a big hit! Below is a report from our "security company" (wink wink). The stuffies did get up to some shenanigans after hours!

Results:
USA Library Alarm Systems confirmed a “Stuffed Animal Sleepover” occurred on the evening of 5/26/26. It appears that although the stuffed animals did some silly things, no harm was done to any stuffed animals or library equipment. No further action will be taken.

We completed our last Kids Create of the season. Our library friends and Ms. Regina learned about pollinators especially bees! They each made a bee hotel to hang in their garden at home. And bee-cause Ms Regina is so sweet, she gave each of them honey sticks! What a yummy and sticky treat!!!

Kids Create will start up again in September. In the meantime be sure to visit our website and sign up for Summer Reading and all the exciting events with Ms. Alexis and Ms. Regina!

A spell gone wrong has mixed up all the magic brooms and potions and it's up to you and your classmates to put them all back in their proper places, or your house will definitely lose points. Work together to solve the clues and return everything to its proper place before time runs out!
