Calling all crafters! Litchfield Library is having a craft supply swap beginning at noon on Friday, October 23, and continuing through Saturday, October 24, and Monday, October 26, during library hours in the library’s meeting room. This will be similar to our puzzle exchanges. Stop by anytime during the event.

Do you have extra craft supplies cluttering your home? You can bring unused or gently used supplies, in good condition, for someone else to enjoy.

Want to try a new craft or get some free craft supplies before winter? Stop by and see if anything looks interesting and take what you will use. Bringing supplies is not required to take supplies.

Free and open to all ages!

Please bring your donations to the front desk.

All varieties of art and craft supplies and equipment that are in good condition will be accepted. See the list for general types of things that will be accepted, although it is not a complete list of possibilities.

Not accepted: aerosols, hazardous materials, opened cans of paint, completed or partially completed projects, or worn out supplies. Library staff reserve the right to refuse any items.

Any remaining supplies will be locally donated or used for future library programming.

Swap events are a great opportunity to rehome items and reduce waste in our community. No items may be sold; everything must be given and taken freely.

You may bring your donations to the front desk beginning Tuesday, October 20 or anytime during the event.
