Today, Lt. Governor Austin Davis came to the Elizabethtown Child Care Center to talk about our efforts to lower the cost of child care for families in Pennsylvania. I appreciate his focus on this critical issue and his support of my plan to expand the Employer Child Care Contribution Tax Credit Program.

My bill, SB 1310, would increase incentives for employers by offering businesses more tax credit to match their contributions to their employees' child care costs, up to $10K per employee each year.

Encouraging these benefits is good for families and businesses. I look forward to continuing my work with the Shapiro Administration to address cost of living issues that have a real impact on Lancaster Families.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my "Protecting Paws" event to donate items for the local SPCA and talk about my legislation (SB 1190) that would establish humane pet retail standards and reduce demand for puppy mills.

I make it a priority to support local municipalities wherever I can by helping them fill funding gaps with state resources. Recently, I was able to work with Mount Joy Borough to secure funding for new AEDs that will help save lives and improve public safety.

America is a nation built by immigrants. Today we remembered and celebrated our heritage by welcoming new U.S. citizens from 24 different countries!

If you need an annual dog license or would like to donate items to the local SPCA, drop by my District Office in Lititz later today!

Next week, I will be hosting a dog licensing event and donation drive for the local SPCA. Stop by my District Office in Lititz on Friday (5/29) from 4PM-7PM to apply for an annual dog license and donate items for animals in need.

It was wonderful to spend time with a tour group from Pathways Institute for Lifelong Learning - Landis Communities today. I love this group's commitment to lifelong learning, and it was a pleasure to show them around our beautiful Capitol Building.
